Peru is home to more than three thousand varieties of native potatoes. 14 INKAS Vodka is the first native potato vodka elaborated from peruvian andean potatoes, working directly with a community consisting of 20 families living at over 3,500 meters above sea level located in the highland province of huancavelica. Women and men work together using ancestral knowledge, traditional tools and rain irrigated fields to harvest high quality, organic certified native potatoes.

TASTING NOTES: Transparent, brilliant and viscous. Complex and balanced on the nose. The smell evolve. The first scents are banana, strawberry, honey, apple, vanilla, citrous notes appear Lima, Mandarin, followed by jasmine, chamomile, lemon grass and finally almonds, nutmeg, black pepper and a slight earthyness. Alcohol is present but not overwhelming, it doesnt burn. In the mouth at first it is sweet, oily, warm, but not pungent, banana, honey, vanilla, lemon peel, chamomile, almonds, black pepper, nut meg. A medium persistance with a long aftertaste of almonds, sweet and citrous notes.
